Dear Ministry Partners and Friends,
It’s hard to express how exciting the first 8 months of 2024 have been for Hope & Solution
Ministries. We have had the privilege of sharing The Gospel in Tyler, Dallas, Austin and New
Orleans. In all 4 cities, God has done amazing things.
A quick recap of the first 8 months of 2024…
● 141 people have made Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior
● 52 in Tyler, 61 in Dallas, 26 in Austin and 2 in New Orleans
● 12 people have been baptized
● 6 people in Tyler and 5 people in Dallas moved into permanent housing
● 17 people have entered recovery programs
MY LATEST TRIP
I’ve just recently returned from 4 days in Dallas and 4 days in Austin. Besides the almost
unbearable heat, it was an amazing journey. The receptiveness and love I experienced in Dallas
was overwhelming. I would guess that I shared with over 250 people with a result of 15 making
Jesus their Lord and Savior and 2 of those being baptized in the fountain behind the Magnolia Hotel
on the corner of Ackard and Main Streets. The spiritual care of 9 of these new brothers and sisters
has been taken over by members of 3 local churches and 1 entered a 90-day inpatient recovery
facility to deal with his addiction to meth and alcohol. (Please keep Robert in your prayers) God is
so AWESOME!
Things are still progressing in Austin. New contacts have been made and new resources have
availed themselves. I wasn’t able to share the Gospel with as many in Austin, but seeds were sown.
God did harvest 4 into His Kingdom. My familiarity with Austin is improving and I feel strongly that
we will see God harvest many more of the lost in the near future.

UPCOMING MISSIONARY TRIPS
I’m certain that I am being called to travel to other cities to share Christ’s love with the lost, the
homeless, the forgotten and the addicted. Currently, in September the plan is to be on the streets
of Tyler, Dallas, and Austin. For October I am exploring the possibility of sharing the Gospel on the
streets of not only Tyler, Dallas, and Austin, but also San Antonio and New Orleans. This, of course,
will take a larger financial outlay than is currently possible, but I have no doubt that if this is what
God wants me to do, He will make the way. I am asking for your financial support, but also, I covet
your prayers–prayers that I have the knowledge of God’s will for me, that doors continue to be
opened, and opportunities continue to avail themselves.
I want to thank everyone for allowing me to take part in the growth of the Kingdom. None of
this would be possible without the support of people like you, through prayer and financial
resources.
Your brother in Christ,
Eric
