April was truly a busy month as the Gospel was shared not only in Tyler, but also in Dallas, Ft.
Worth, San Antonio, and New Orleans; and God showed up in amazing ways–not only in the
receptiveness of those I met, but even in the weather and every train being on time (Amtrak
being on time is quite miraculous). Seven hours after I left New Orleans, the city was flooded. In
San Antonio and Ft. Worth, the rain momentarily stopped long enough for me and my luggage
to keep from getting soaked. I frequently share that if you want to see miracles, just pay
attention. It appears to me that most only believe that things like the parting of the Red Sea are
miraculous, but the number of things I witness daily that no human power could have
accomplished are numerous. However, sharing the Good News is the primary focus of the
ministry and that was done. I estimate that I spoke to around 600 people over 11 days.
How then will they call upon him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to
believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without
someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written,
“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” Romans 10:14-15
Following is a quick recap of the AMAZING things that have occurred in 2025:
● 113 people have made Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior–
17 in Tyler, 50 in Dallas, 30 in Austin, 5 in San Antonio, and 11 in New Orleans
● 7 people have been baptized
● 1 person in Tyler, 2 people in Austin, and 2 people in Dallas have moved into
permanent housing
● 2 people in Dallas, 1 person in Tyler, 1 person in Austin, and 1 person in New
Orleans have entered a long-term recovery program
MY LATEST TRIP
In April I was blessed to meet so many people and get to be back in New Orleans for Easter. On
Easter Sunday, I met a young man named Randall. Like so many, Randall was truly lost and
had no hope. He had been living on the streets of NOLA for close to 6 months having arrived
from Jackson, MS. His wife had put him out with a little over $100 in his pocket. He figured he’d
take a bus to NOLA, get a job, and life would be good. What he discovered was that cost of
living in NOLA is substantially greater than Jackson and no one wants to hire someone who
stays “high”. Randall had attended a Methodist church as a child but never surrendered to
Christ or had a relationship with Our Lord and Savior. He knew that he had to do something
different, starting with getting off of meth, but he was scared. I could easily relate to him over the
fear of, “How do I live another day on this stuff, but how do I live another day without it?” Randall
surrendered to Jesus, was baptized in the fountain in Jackson Square and was willing to enter a
long-term recovery program. That afternoon, Randall went to the Northshore and entered a 12-
month Christ-centered recovery program. Please join with me in praying for Randall and his
family back in Jackson, MS.
UPCOMING MISSIONARY TRIPS
These Mission Trips have proven to be effective and beneficial. This month I was planning on
traveling to Chicago; however, due to construction on the tracks by Union Pacific, the trip just
wouldn’t work out. The track work is supposed to be completed by the beginning of July, so I will
be going to Chicago in August. Consequently, this month I will be taking the trip that was
planned for August. Monday I will be headed to Dallas for 3 days and then to Austin for 4 days.
As a reminder, the costs associated with these Mission Trips is the largest expense in our
ministry’s budget. Consequently, I am asking for your financial support so the Kingdom
Message can be shared with as many as possible in as many places as possible. Thank you for
partnering with me in prayer and in needed financial resources.
