June 2025
May’s Mission Trip was interesting, to say the least. It started in Dallas where the Lord really
“showed out.” Twelve people made Jesus the Lord and Savior of their life and 2 people entered
long-term recovery programs. From Dallas, I headed to Austin where, even though it was only
92 degrees and overcast, I suffered what was diagnosed as “severe sunstroke.” Thankfully, we
got 14 new Brothers and Sisters in Christ before I was wiped out. The sunstroke/heat stroke
caused me to have to stay an additional day in Austin before I could travel back to Tyler. I’m
now pretty much fully recovered except for my energy level.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone
who believes…”Romans 1:16
Following is a quick recap of the AMAZING things that have occurred in 2025:
● 143 people have made Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior–
21 in Tyler, 62 in Dallas, 44 in Austin, 5 in San Antonio, and 11 in New Orleans
● 11 people have been baptized
● 2 people in Tyler, 4 people in Dallas, and 2 people in Austin have moved into
permanent housing
● 2 people in Tyler, 4 people in Dallas, 1 person in Austin, and 1 person in New
Orleans have entered a long-term recovery program
MIKE & CHINA
Due to work on the tracks that Amtrak uses, I took the TRE (local train service) from
Dallas to Ft. Worth to catch my train to Austin. On that trip, I met Mike and China. A
married couple living on the street after both having gotten out of short-term rehab in
Dallas. At the time, neither was sober and neither had any relationship with God (except
to use His name as a curse word). We talked on the hour-long ride and spent some time
together at the station in Ft. Worth before I departed for Austin. I stayed in contact with
them while I was in Austin and returned to Dallas for an afternoon before returning to
Tyler. It was the “plan” and my hope that they would return with me and enter recovery
programs in Longview. Unfortunately, that didn’t work out. As of this past Monday they
are in a PHP Program in Dallas. I look forward to getting to spend some more time with
them in a couple of weeks. Please keep them in your prayers.
UPCOMING MISSIONARY TRIPS
My original plans for June were to be on the road for 16 days. Traveling to the streets of Dallas,
San Antonio, and New Orleans. With my “energy” level where it currently is, and on the
advice of the Board, I will not be going to New Orleans and San Antonio this month. I will
instead, be going to Dallas for 5 days. Dallas has proven to be a wonderfully ripe field.
Now that the children are out of school and vacations are being planned for the summer
months, donations to the ministry have dropped. However, the mission of the ministry, sharing
the gospel in as many places as possible with the hope of transforming lives, continues.
Therefore, financial support is needed as well as your partnership in prayer. ANY support,
financial or prayer, is very much appreciated. THANK YOU!
Your Brother in Christ,
Eric Wohlbruck
Isaiah 6:8 And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for
us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.”
