Hope & Solution Ministries has been super busy the first 5 months of this year. God is opening doors and leading us to people who are hungry for what Jesus Christ has to offer. In the Tyler area alone 42 people have made Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior. In addition to that, 6 people who were living on the streets were helped find and move into permanent housing, and 11 people whose lives were in shambles because of
addictions have begun the road to recovery.
During these first 5 months, we made 4 trips to Dallas to share the Gospel on the streets among the homeless. The reception has been phenomenal!! We are finding many people willing to listen to the Gospel message. In the Dallas area, we’ve witnessed 186 people make Jesus their Lord and Savior. We have been able to help 4 people get off the streets into permanent housing, and we’ve helped 4 people find recovery programs. Praise God!
This ministry’s primary focus is still the Tyler area, but it’s quite evident there’s great opportunity to sow seeds in the Dallas area and much need for watering those seeds with teaching, encouragement, and community. The cost of making these mission trips to Dallas is something we didn’t anticipate for this year, but we feel so strongly that God is calling us to the Dallas area, we will continue to persevere. These trips are averaging
$153.98/day. Would you consider sponsoring a “Day in Dallas?” It is our intention to make 3 more missionary trips to Dallas between now and the end of October at which time we will begin concentrating on our Holiday Ministry. If you can’t sponsor a day, I ask that you please keep me and this ministry in your prayers.
Let’s all remember Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…
I am extremely blessed to have you in my life and pray that as you go about your day that you do so with the boldness of a lion, always ready to share the Gospel.
Your Brother in Christ,
Eric Wohlbruck
